Dr. Dr. med. Preißner, M.D., was born in Neustadt
in the state of Holstein, Germany, in 1952. After obtaining
his university-entrance certificate in 1972, he was accepted
by the University Kiel and embarked on a course of studies
in microbiology the same year. |
After his final exam in 1977, he received a research stipend
at Ohio State University in the U.S. A doctorate in natural
sciences followed in 1978.
A year later he started his medical studies and was board
certified in 1983, receiving his doctorate in medicine.
He started his surgical training at the Friedrich-Ebert
hospital in Neumünster the same year under the guidance
of Prof. Matzander. In 1984 he joined the Clinic for General
and Thorax Surgery at CAU Kiel under Professor H. Hamelmann.
This was followed by further education in the field of
cosmetic and plastic surgery in 1987 with Professor I.
Pitangui at the University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In 1988, he trained to become a trauma surgeon at the
Lubinus Clinic in Kiel, Germany. Board certified as surgical
specialist in 1990 and as trauma surgeon in 1992. From
1991 to 1994, chief physician for trauma surgery and orthopedics
and senior physician for general surgical unit at the
Lubinus Clinic.
In 1995 Dr. Preißner established his own practice
as surgeon, trauma surgeon and special emergency physician
in Kiel at the Praxis Clinic Kiel-Wellingdorf.
Dr. Preißner expanded this practice by adding additional
surgical specialists and developed it into the largest
medical services center in the state of Schleswig-Holstein.
In addition to general surgery, Dr. Preißner has
been focusing on plastic-aesthetic surgery and medicine
for more than 15 years and was a decisive contributor
to introducing and further developing liposuction in Germany.
For years, Dr. Preißner has been a guest and consulting
physician at well-known clinics including overseas.
The emphasis of his work is primarily on body shaping
(liposuction, tummy tucks, upper thigh and upper arm firming)
as well as breast augmentation (including increase, reduction,
and firming) as well as new methods and procedures of
minimally invasive facelifts.
At the beginning of 2006, Dr. Preißner established
the VITAL-AESTHETIC-CLINIC, a clinic for plastic-aesthetical
surgery and medicine with head office in Kiel, Hamburger
Chaussee 77, where is currently active as medical director.
The VITAL-AESTHETIC-CLINIC is cooperation partner of the
Damp Group. This makes it possible to bundle the surgical
plastic-aesthetical services with the distinctive offers
of Damp touristic and Damp Vital holistic medicine with
individual preventative health services.

with the seal of approval of the IGÄM (International
Society for Aesthetic Surgery, Prof. Mang) for the focal

Dr. Zernial was born in Bonn in 1971 and passed his university-entrance
exam in Bremen in 1991. After his activity with the local
EMT services, he commenced his studies in the field of
human medicine in Giessen in 1993, transferring to Kiel
in 1995, State exam in Kiel in 2001, followed by second
course of studies (dental medicine) and graduation in
2004, also in Kiel. In 2003, he obtained his doctorate
in human medicine from the Christian-Albrechts University
in Kiel.
From 2004 to 2008, continuous education assistant and
scientific employee at the clinic for oral and facial
surgery at the university clinic Schleswig-Holstein, Kiel
campus, with focus on plastic reconstructive surgery and
dental implantology. Since 2005, he is a certified quality
manager and DIN ISO EN 9001:2000 certified by the clinic
for oral and facial surgery of the UKSH Kiel in 2008.
After becoming a specialist in this field, Dr. Zernial
worked as dentist in Bremen in 2008. Certification as
implantologist in 2008 by the German Implantology Association.
Starting in January 2009, Dr. Zernial established a practice
specializing in oral and facial surgical procedures as
part of the VITAL-AESTHETIC-CLINIC with head office in
Kiel, Hamburger Chaussee 77. |
